Translation and interpretation are two services that help people to understand other cultures, to do business abroad, or to establish new relationships.

Free Google translation service is sufficient for basic expression of what you want to say in a foreign language. However, if you need to sound professional, to understand the subtleties, or to present your work employing foreign technical jargon,  to request professional services is appropriate.

About myself

​I am an established professional who has set up this website for people who might need more than basic understanding of what is said or written in Russian or who wish to present themselves or their products to Russian-speaking communities.

My approach to translation can be summed up with five words: "To translate is to understand". That is why when a new project arrives, my first task is to learn the particulars. For example, if a client asks to translate a technical drawing related to refineries (see the drawing above), understanding how a refinery operates becomes a must. Second, terminology is what makes the translation sounding professional. In this respect, my approach is to find a good textbook on the subject and build up my own vocabulary of terms.

Translation and interpretation is also a convenient way to establish new contacts and to expand my understanding of the world while helping people. If you speak English, French, or Italian, get in touch!
